DAS VILLAIN My husband and I had the honor of seeing New Order live in Seattle back in 2014. I've been a long-time fan of NO since hearing Blue Monday back in 1983 (when I was only 11 years old) where their live show was great!

With this release, the band reinterprets all of their classic tracks (and Joy Division cuts) with deconstructionist artist Liam Gillick that's surreal and engaging. A definite for the hardcore NO/JD fans, like myself and a good intro to the neophytes without being overwhelmed

Favorite track: Dream Attack (Live at MIF).

gooner4270 Ordered and paid for the CD. Mute Records sent the vinyl LP in error! Sigh....

about

In June 2017, New Order returned to the stage at Manchester’s Old Granada Studios where Joy Division made their television debut on Tony Wilson’s So It Goes programme in 1978. For the celebrated show ∑(No,12k,Lg,17Mif) New Order + Liam Gillick: So it goes .., New Order
deconstructed, rethought and rebuilt a wealth of material from throughout their career: familiar and obscure, old and new.
